Dayschool
Offered with both a half day and full day option Monday-Thursday, Dayschool gives your pup the opportunity to learn, practice, and grow throughout their day with us. Each pup-il’s day is tailored to their individual needs and may include structured training, socialization, enrichment, confidence-building activities, rest, and practice around controlled distractions. We focus on skills that translate beyond the classroom, helping create dogs who are more confident, responsive, and enjoyable to live with at home and out in the world.
Obedience Training
Building skills for everyday life.
From leash manners and recall to place, thresholds, and impulse control, we work on practical obedience skills that make everyday life with your dog easier. Skills are practiced throughout the day and with different distractions, helping your pup learn that good manners don’t only apply one-on-one.
Behavior Modification
Working through challenges with purpose.
For pup-ils struggling with behavioral concerns, Dayschool provides opportunities to work through challenges in a structured and controlled environment. Training is tailored to the individual dog, with a focus on improving communication, creating clearer expectations, and building more appropriate responses to the situations they find difficult.
Socialization
Learning how to navigate the world.
Socialization is about much more than playing with other dogs. We teach pup-ils how to exist appropriately around dogs, people, new environments, and everyday distractions. From structured group work and pack walks to learning how to settle around others, the goal is to build calm, neutral, and socially appropriate behavior.
Confidence Building
Encouraging capable, resilient, & confident dogs.
New experiences can be challenging, especially for nervous or unsure dogs. Through enrichment, movement, problem-solving, new surfaces, environments, and carefully introduced experiences, we give pup-ils opportunities to work through uncertainty at their own pace. Each little success helps build a dog who is more willing to try, recover, and confidently take on something new.
YOUR TURN TO LEARN
Training doesn’t stop when the school day ends! Owner involvement is an important part of our Dayschool program. Private lessons give you the opportunity to learn the skills, tools, and techniques your dog is practicing with us so you can confidently continue their training at home.
As your dog progresses through Dayschool, we’ll work together to transfer their new skills to you and address how they fit into your everyday routine. Consistency between school and home helps turn what your dog learns with us into lasting habits.
